Judge Never Katiyo of the High Court of Zimbabwe rejects MP Alan Makharm’s request for the publication of the voter list. Judge expresses worries about security and claims that ZEC is required to protect voter rolls, particularly electronic ones, because they can be tampered with “in this age of social media.”

Denford Halimani, Alan Markham’s representative, in front of the Harare High Court said “This is a live matter, we still need ZEC to give us, the people of Zimbabwe, a voter’s roll,” ZEC has declined to provide the Harare North MP with the voting rolls since a request was made 145 days ago.
