By Wezhira Munya   Earlier today, Chiredzi town council councillors elected new Mayor [chairperson] after Zanu PF proxy Secretary General [SG] recalled two Citizens Coalition for Change councillors.   Fake SG Tshabangu recalled Chiredzi town mayor CCC councillor Mr. Roger Chikonye [ward 7] and CCC councillor Musingashari Musingashari [ward 6].   After the recall of the above-mentioned mayor Chikonye, there was need to elect new Mayor.   Therefore, today, Chiredzi town council elected new Mayor, who is Zanu PF ward 3 councillor Mr Jameson Charumbira.   Charumbira was the deputy mayor before Tshabangu recalled CCC Chiredzi town mayor Chikonye.   Today, Charumbira was elected mayor unopposed in a special council meeting that took place in Chiredzi tow council boardroom.   The newly elected deputy Chiredzi town mayor is a Zanu PF member Liberty Macharaga ward 1, councillor.   He [Charumbira] was also elected unopposed.   From today, Chiredzi town council is now under Zanu PF thanks to ruthless Tshabangu.   Since 2018, Chiredzi town council was under opposition councillors and mayor.   In 2023, CCC led by President Nelson Chamisa won 5 council seats and Zanu PF won three seats.   Zanu PF was defeated in Chiredzi town.   CCC under able leadership of President Chamisa won Chiredzi Central member of parliament seat, after CCC youthful candidate Mr Ropafadzo Makumire heavily defeated Zanu candidate.   Unfortunately, on 23rd August...
