The alarming contrast between the treatment of the ZINASU students and the ZANUPF former deputy minister highlights the blatant selective use of the law by the government of Zimbabwe and ZANU PF.

The students, who peacefully expressed their concerns, have suffered unjust imprisonment for over a month, while the former deputy minister, who committed a violent act by firing gunshots in public, roams free without facing any consequences.

Such flagrant disregard for justice and the rule of law only serves to further erode public trust in the government and reinforces the growing sentiment that ZANU PF will face defeat in the upcoming 23 August elections.

The people of Zimbabwe are increasingly demanding transparency, accountability, and a fair legal system that treats all citizens equally, regardless of their political affiliations.
