Masvingo Magistrate grants clr Musekiwa
$20 000 rtgs bail

Few minutes ago, Masvingo Magistrate granted bail to Masvingo ward 7 Citizens Coalition for Change Councillor (Clr) Richard Musekiwa.
The magistrate granted $20 000 rtgs bail and order councillor Musekiwa to return to court on 2nd March 2023, for trial.
Advocate Collin Maboke represented Clr Musekiwa.
Clr Musekiwa said, “I am happy that the magistrate has granted me bail. I maintain my innocency. I did not commit any crime. I was excuting my duties as a councillor. ”
Clr Musekiwa was arrested on Monday 20th February 2022. He is accused of holding a feedback meeting at his house.
