A mentally disturbed man was stabbed to death at Mkoba 6 Shopping Center in Gweru on November 29, 2025. The victim, identified as Danny a resident of Mkoba and a regular Marshall of Mkoba 6 his home shops where he used to spend most of his time.
Sadly,Danny was always a peaceful man regardless of his mental problem he was never violent evn at times.he was always culm. He was also a dedicated member of Roman catholic Church’s St Paul’s Parish in Mkoba. His untimely death is a loss to the community in general because as a member of the community had a right to live like any other human God created said one community member known as Tich.
Mkoba South Legislator, Honorable John Kuka, has condemned the incident, calling on the police to hunt down and arrest the perpetrator. “We are shocked and saddened by this brutal act of violence. We urge the police to leave no stone unturned in bringing the perpetrator to justice,” Honorable Kuka said.
