Former Glenview South Member of Parliament, Grandmore Hakata, has passed away. He succumbed to an illness related to diabetes. Born on December 3, 1969, he was 56 years old.
Mourners are gathered at Number 1137, Glen View 1, 10th Crescent, Glenview, Harare. Change Radio will continue to provide updates on the funeral proceedings.

Hon Hakata won the 2023 elections whilst he was in jail. He was arrested together with 39 others a few days before elections.
He was one of more than 20 CCC candidates who contested the 2023 elections from jail.
