In Africa election malpractice continue to affect the state affairs of many African countries.
With Zimbabwe as one of the latest countries which has failed to adhere to a free and fair election. The USA Ambassador to Zimbabwe in her ingaural speech exposed the government of Zimbabwe of failing to utilize the elections which are supposed to be free and fair.
There has been slight change in Zimbabwe as the government continue to face economic challenges amidst high corruption cases from the Zanu Pf Political leaders
This has also been a case in other continents, in Venezuela, there are reports of election rigging which has already sparked controversy and protests due to claims of election rigging.
Zimbabwe walked through the same fate but as always the Zanu Pf continue to use represive methods to squash the citizens voices.
Political analyst have called on governments and revolutionary parties to adhere to the principles of democracy and allow progressive politics.
