….. As SADC, European Union and other Observers declared Zimbabwe elections as not free and fair

The Citizens Coalition for Change [CCC] party President Nelson Chamisa will give an important address today regarding the harmonized election results released by the Zimbabwe Electoral Commission [ZEC] last night.

ZEC announced that the Zanu PF candidate, Emmerson Mnangagwa, won the 2023 presidential vote with 52.6%, while President Chamisa received 44%.

However, CCC is disputing these results.

President Chamisa on his today’s twitter message described presidential election results as “a blatant and gigantic fraud.”

CCC spokesperson Mr Promise Mkwananzi encouraged supporters to remain calm and assured that the president will address the nation today, “I advice Citizens to remain calm. President Nelson Chamisa will be addressing the nation today.”

The presser by President Chamisa will be held in SAPES Trust , Harare at 3pm today.

In addition, CCC spokesperson Mr Mkwananzi said, the presidential results announced by ZEC were “fictitious”.

He [Mkwananzi] states that President Chamisa won the elections and they [CCC] have evidence to prove that President Chamisa won the presidential vote.

President Chamisa got more votes than both CCC and Zanu PF parliamentary and council candidates in 2023. Whereas, Mnangangwa got less votes in many instances than CCC and Zanu PF parliamentary and council candidates. For example in Masvingo urban, Zanu PF aspiring member of parliament got around 6 000 votes and his president got 5000 votes. Also, in Cowdray Park, Zanu PF aspiring member of parliament Prof Ncube got around 6 000 votes but his president got 3000 votes.

In Masvingo urban and other constituencies, majority of Zanu PF aspiring councillors and members of parliament got more votes than their presidential candidature. Zanu PF candidates proved to be popular than their president in 2023 harmonized elections.

CCC party managed to get all V11s, V23s among other important evidence to support their claim that they resoundingly won 2023 presidential elections.

Meanwhile, President Chamisa urged Citizens not to lose hope after ZEC stole their presidential votes. Below is President Chamisa’s message earlier today,

“Fellow Citizens; I know you are anxious. I will give an address soon. Never lose hope. Don’t give up. You did your very best. You sacrificed all. It’s not in vain. They stole your voice and vote but never your hope. It’s a blatant and gigantic fraud. Our God is faithful. There shall be freedom and justice in Zimbabwe!
Remember, #Godisinit.”

The preliminary SADC , European Union and other Observers election reports on Zimbabwe harmonized elections, declared the elections as SHAM, not free and fair.

Today, President Chamisa will inform the Zimbabweans on the CCC party’s next steps of action to solve elections crisis.

Yesterday, Zanu PF and FAZ members disrupted CCC presser that was being addressed by CCC spokesperson Mkwananzi.
