The Citizens Coalition for Change [CCC] party President, Nelson Chamisa, has invaded rural constituencies as he drums up support.

Rural areas were perceived to be Zanu-PF strongholds. Since 1980, Zanu PF has been using intimidation and violence to coerce rural citizens to vote for it.

However, since the advent of the CCC party, rural citizens are courageous and attending CCC party rallies, meetings, and wearing CCC party t-shirts.

Yesterday, President Chamisa addressed two mega rural rallies in Bulilima and Mangwe constituencies.

In Bulilima, there were over 25,000 CCC members who attended President Chamisa’s rally.

In rural Mangwe constituency, over 20,000 CCC members attended President Chamisa’s rally.

On 20th July 2023, President Chamisa addressed over 23,000 CCC members at rural Mataga Business Centre, Mberengwa.

Zanu PF tried to disrupt these rallies, but citizens defied intimidation and attended.

President Chamisa’s popularity is increasing daily as the harmonized elections draw near.

At all these three rallies, President Chamisa informed the citizens that his new Government will: turn around the economy, pay pensions and workers’ salaries in United States Dollars, provide free primary education, affordable secondary and tertiary education, build state-of-the-art infrastructure, hospitals, and education facilities, among others.

In addition, President Chamisa implored the rural citizens to vote for CCC presidential candidates, parliamentary candidates, and councillors.

He also encouraged citizens to defend their votes to avoid election rigging by Zanu PF.
