Mr. Ephraem Murundu, an aspiring member of parliament for the Gutu West Citizens Coalition for Change [CCC], has been arrested.
He was detained at Gutu Police Station after being accused of assaulting a member of Forever Associates of Zimbabwe. Despite being seriously ill, Mr. Murundu was held in custody, as stated by his lawyer, Advocate Omen Mafa.
Furthermore, there is a possibility that Mr. Murundu will have a court appearance tomorrow, where he will have the opportunity to address the charges brought against him. The exact details and nature of the alleged assault are yet to be disclosed, leaving many eager to learn more about the circumstances surrounding this incident.
