Their case will be heard on Monday, 6th June 2023.
The reason for postponing the case to Monday, is that the prosecutor handling the case is away, posted CCC spokesperson advocate Fadzayi Mahere on her twitter account.
According to Advocate Mahere, “The accused persons are being persecuted for challenging FAZ interference in the election processes. They are represented by Mr Mureri.”
Also, in the court papers it is alleged that the accused persons destroyed FAZ and Zanu PF members’ counter book $1 and phone cover $3.
CCC National youth organiser Womberaiishe Nhende and many CCC members from Chirumanzu South and Gweru attended today’s court in solidarity.
