Unless you are the proverbial idiot that sings wedding songs at a funeral, you can blindly swallow the deceptive bait of the current authoritarian regime.
The journey of democracy in Zimbabwe is a muddy road. It is also full of slippery stepping stones. The current autocratic regime is good at feigning legitimacy. It manipulates and confounds people with its well oiled machinations. Its agenda is to impose a one party system of governance. Zimbabweans are tired of silly agendas. They need prosperity !
The putrid wind of the 2030 agenda must immediately go and be expunged forthwith.
This heartless regime is busy promoting its vile agenda while the nation is burning.
It loots resources as if there is no tomorrow. It is gagging and muzzling genuine opposition forces, and creating its own fake and malleable opposition parties. Its agenda is to whitewash its sinister tactics revolving around the warped need to alter and ‘edit’ our constitution.
Electoral processes in Zimbabwe have often been ridiculed. This is because the ruling party has become adept at exploiting peace loving Zimbabweans.
Zimbabweans are in need of a stable currency,reasonable health facilities and affordable education. People have nothing to do with the misguided 2030 slogan.
The regime is not alive to the adverse impact suffered by Zimbabweans as a result of economic collapse. The once strong economy is now murdered, with job opportunities scarce and livelihoods hanging by a weak thread.
Its disheartening that the promise of a better future has faded into oblivion ,leaving many to withstand the harsh realities of survival.
We are going to remain steadfast. We will jealously and religiously protect our constitution from the nefarious strategies of this heartless regime!
Let all progressive people embrace the New in the sonorous call to defend the constitution without any further hesitation at all.
