Yesterday violent Zanu PF thugs vivaciously attacked Citizens Coalition for Change members and party offices in Bindura, Mashonaland Central province.
The story was brought up by the party spokesperson, Fadzayi Mahere who said ” We’ve received a report that Zanu PF thugs attacked our party offices in Bindura damaging a vehicle belonging to Ian Makone Jnr & injuring 2 of our youths as they were preparing for the citizens’ assembly to be addressed by President Nelson Chamisa today.”
Bumper crowds that graced President Chamisa’s interface meetings in Mashonaland West and Mashonaland East few days ago, caused Zanu PF to panick and resort to violence.
Commenting on Bindura violence, Citizens Coalition for Change national youth taskforce Organiser Womberaiishe Nhende writes on his twitter, “Zanu PF thugs last night attacked our CCC champions at our party offices in Bindura damaging a vehicle belonging to clr Ian Makone Jnr and injuring 2 of our youth as they were organizing for the Citizens assembly to be be addressed by HE the President Nelson Chamisa today”.
Today, thousands of Citizens Coalition for Change are expected to congrate today at CCC party office today as President Chamisa addresses them.
Fearless National Organiser Amos Chibaya said, “We are not afraid of Zanu PF thugs, we are going ahead with our Citizens interface meeting today in Bindura. President Chamisa will address the Citizens today.”
