….. As many Ngundu citizens suffer from police tear gas effects.
It is sad and painful that two young boys from the Ngundu area are battling for their lives at Neshuro Hospital after being teargased by Ngundu police officers.
They were teargased by the police yesterday at Ngundu Business Centre.

I have deliberately covered their faces in the pictures to protect their identity because they are young boys.
The two boys were coming from a school soccer tournament at Hlezana when they were caught in crossfire after the police fired tear gas at CCC members.
The police fired tear gas towards CCC members to disperse them as they waited for President Chamisa to address them.
Many Ngundu citizens are suffering from tear gas effects.
Unfortunately, police tear gas smoke affected two young boys who fell unconscious and were taken to Ngundu Clinic by CCC Chivi Cluster acting Director of Elections, Mr. Makore Francis Hungwe.
Commenting on the health status of the two young boys who were teargased, Mr. Makore (Hungwe) said, “It’s been 3 hours now, and the boys are still unconscious. We have taken them to Ngundu clinic and later referred them to Neshuro Hospital where they are now receiving treatment.”
Also, Chivi South ward 25 Ngundu aspiring councillor, Mr. Salavani Mafadzavana, said, “The boys are currently being treated by Neshuro medical staff, and they are on drips. We pray that they recover. Their condition is very worrisome.”
Earlier yesterday, the police in Rutenga, Mwenezi, also disrupted President Chamisa’s rally by firing tear gas and rubber bullets towards CCC members.
Hundreds of CCC members and citizens in Rutenga have been affected by police tear gas.
One citizen in Rutenga condemned the police for using tear gas to disperse CCC members as tear gas smoke is affecting many residents.
