Rutenga Riot Police have disrupted the Citizens Coalition for Change [CCC] rally at Rutenga Business Centre.

The rally was supposed to end at 4 pm, but the police stopped the rally at 3:45 pm.
The senior police officer said, “CCC members must stop their rally because your time is up. You booked the rally to end at 4 pm. Now it’s 3:45 pm. You must now pack your things and leave.”
They stopped the rally after 3:45 pm, upon hearing that President Chamisa was about to arrive at the venue.
CCC Mwenezi West aspiring member of parliament, Mr. Brilliant Chifumuro, said, “We are highly disappointed by the police who disrupted our rally. We expected to hear President Nelson Chamisa address us. We feel the police treated us unfairly.”

Today, Officer in Charge Mushava of Rutenga canceled the CCC (Citizens’ Concerned Coalition) Rutenga rally that was supposed to be addressed by President Chamisa on 23 July 2023.
The rally was canceled at 3:45 pm.
President Chamisa was supposed to address the rally.
In the video, CCC Mwenezi leader is seen instructing CCC leaders to ensure that all CCC members are driven to their homes safely.
