Today, the Chivi Central Citizens Coalition for Change (CCC) party launches its 2023 campaign in style.
Approximately 3000 citizens congregated at the homestead of CCC aspiring councillor Mr. Tamuka Matambanadzo.
Mr. Henry Chivhanga, the Chivi Central cluster leader, stated, “We want to win all wards, the parliamentary seat, and the presidential vote on 23rd August 2023. President Chamisa will solve socio-economic problems.”
In addition, Mr. Webster Matihwa, the CCC aspiring member of parliament, attended the event.
He said, “I am supporting our Chivi Central CCC member of parliament, Mr. Peter A. Makotose, and all councillors who were selected by the party to represent it. We want to win this constituency resoundingly.”
Plenty of food and drinks were provided.
Citizens in rural areas are ready for change under the leadership of President Nelson Chamisa.
Since 1980, Chivi Central has faced many problems, such as a shortage of educational facilities, high unemployment, drought, among others.
Citizens in Chivi Central pin their hopes on President Chamisa’s new government to bring new employment opportunities, educational facilities, industries, among others, said Chivi Central aspiring member of parliament Mr. Makotose.

In 2008, MDC won Chivi Central in the following wards: 16, 18, 20, and 30.
Inspired by the 2008 results, CCC Chivi Central cluster leader Mr. Chivhanga said, “It’s possible to defeat Zanu PF once again in 2023 under the able leadership of President Nelson Chamisa.”
