As the dust settles after the splinter team led by Welshman Ncube and the cabal broke away from President Advocate Nelson Chamisa, citizens from across the nation are speaking out. Change Radio spoke to Chegutu Deputy Mayor Councillor Edward Dzeka, who expressed his unwavering support for President Chamisa. “Those who want to leave are free to do so, we believe in democracy. But I only recognize President Advocate Nelson Chamisa as the legitimate leader, chosen by 2 million voters. We stand with him.”
Moreblessing Nkomo Also Known As Madzimai VeShanduko from Bulawayo echoed similar sentiments, emphasizing the need for people-driven leadership, not self-centered individuals who prioritize personal gain over the nation’s interests. “We need leaders who put the people first, not their own bank accounts. President Chamisa has always been a champion of the people, and we stand by him.”
These voices reflect the sentiments of many citizens who remain committed to President Chamisa’s vision and leadership. As we move forward, it is crucial that we prioritize loyalty, resolve, and vigilance. We must ensure that our movement is purged of self-serving individuals and that our leaders are held accountable for their actions.
