What an unfortunate and abuse of office by the Speaker of Parliament of Zimbabwe, Adv J Mudenda as manifested by barring two Members of Parliament to move and debate a motion on ” National interest ” by Hon Gladys Hlatshwayo and Hon Clifford Hlatshwayo respectively.
This to an rational thinker, Adv Mudenda is telling the citizenry of Zimbabwe and elswhere that, the current parliament is illegitimate and doesn’t need none Zanu pf legislators. It is therefore, imperative to conclude that all opposition Members of parliament are unwanted and undisarable in both houses of parliament.
It’s therefore incumbent to the concerned MPs to self evaluate and do a due diligence analysis on their participation in such unbearable conditions induced upon elected opposition legislators. Much has been said on the most formidable way forward without heeding to.
It’s my considered view that it’s now upon each Member of the opposition in both houses of parliament to self evaluate and decide once and for all their position.
Truly, the citizenry of Zimbabwe is watching and are too apprehensive on the ongoing impression exhibited by the Speaker of Parliament of Zimbabwe.
