The Zimbabwean main opposition party, Citizens Coalition for Change (CCC), will see President Nelson Chamisa addressing four mega rallies today. He is the only opposition party leader to hold four rallies in one day.

President Chamisa will address three rural rallies in Umzingwane [Mat. South], Rutenga [Mwenezi], and Ngundu [Chivi South]. Then he will address the urban rally in Beitbridge [Mat. South].

President Chamisa is mainly focusing on rural constituencies, which were perceived as Zanu-PF strongholds. This perception is being diminished by thousands of rural citizens who are attending President Chamisa’s rallies.

Firstly, President Chamisa will address the rally in Umzingwane at Sibomvu Business Centre at 8 am.

His second rally is in Beitbridge town at Dulibadzimi Stadium at 10 am.

Beitbridge is a metropolitan city, and its proximity to South Africa gives President Chamisa the opportunity to address Zimbabweans based in South Africa.

Beitbridge is a CCC stronghold, and thousands of CCC supporters are expected to congregate at Dulibadzimi Stadium, said CCC aspiring member of parliament, Mr. Morgan Ncube.

At 2 pm, President Chamisa will address his third rally in Mwenezi at Rutenga Business Centre.

In Mwenezi, Zanu PF has unleashed violence and intimidation against CCC and independent candidates. Zanu PF has burnt houses and cars belonging to opposition members.

Under President Chamisa’s leadership, CCC has broken a 43-year-old history by being the first opposition party to field all council and parliamentary candidates in Mwenezi, said CCC Mwenezi West aspiring member of parliament Mr

In addition, in 2018, President Chamisa’s MDC Alliance became the first opposition party to win the Rutenga council seat in Mwenezi.

It is obvious that on 23rd August, President Chamisa’s CCC party will win many seats in Mwenezi, said Mr Brilliant Chifumuro.

Lastly, President Nelson Chamisa will address his final rally at Ngundu Business Centre at 4 pm.

At Ngundu, President Chamisa will address CCC supporters from Chivi South.

In 2018, President Chamisa addressed citizens at Ngundu growth point at 6 pm after addressing the Rutenga rally.

Citizens in Ngundu are eager to hear their President Chamisa addressing them.
