Zanu-PF members intensified intimidation against Citizen Coalition for Change [CCC] members in Mwenezi.
Yesterday, Zanu-PF aspiring member of parliament Mr. Master Makope, Elvanos Dube, and Malachi Masotsha kidnapped CCC member Mr. Felix Mashabele.
CCC national youth taskforce spokesperson Mr. Stephen Sarkozy Chuma writes, “In Mwenezi, Ward 7 at Kuwirirana, CCC member Mr. Felix Mashabele was abducted by Zanu PF MP candidate Master Makopa, Elvanos Dube, and Malachi Masotsha.”
He was abducted around 3 pm yesterday.

Zanu-PF members who abducted Mr. Mashabele used a Zanu-PF branded car. They then tortured him by blindfolding, beating, and harassing him, pouring cold water and river sand on him, and later dumped him.
Mr. Mashabele was later found dumped in Sonop Forests, which is around the Second Levels crossing, approximately 7 km from Rutenga.
Mr. Mashabele said, “I can confirm that I was kidnapped by Zanu-PF members, and they tortured me. I am in deep pain. I thank God that I was not killed. Zanu-PF members kidnapped me because I support President Nelson Chamisa and the CCC party.”
Mr. Mashabele is in need of medical treatment and professional counseling services after going through a traumatic experience, said psychologist Dr. Tarisayi.
Zanu-PF party members are using intimidation to force CCC members to vote for them.
