Honourable Joanna Mamombe, Member of Parliament for Harare West, is ecstatic about her recent appointment to the Nala Feminist Collective Council. Joining a group of 16 other esteemed individuals, she eagerly anticipates the opportunity to contribute to the collective’s mission. The Nala Feminist Collective is a pan-African organization comprising 17 dedicated feminists who strive to empower and mobilize young women across Africa and the diaspora. Their primary goal is to bridge the gap between policy and implementation, intergovernmental and grassroots efforts, as well as generational spaces.
Expressing her elation upon hearing the news, Honourable Mamombe stated, “I am absolutely thrilled and deeply honored to have been selected to join the Nala Feminist Collective Council for the 2023-2025 term.” Recognizing the magnitude of this appointment, she acknowledges the incredible chance to collaborate with accomplished and devoted individuals who share her commitment to transformative feminist change.
