Kadoma Central MP, Hon. Gift Mambipiri, has launched the 2026 Kadoma MP Scholarship Fund, benefiting over 30 children from his constituency. This initiative is the latest in a series of development projects undertaken by the MP to improve the lives of his constituents.

“Education is the key to unlocking opportunities, and it’s our responsibility to ensure that our brightest minds are not held back by circumstances,” Hon. Mambipiri said. The scholarship fund is part of his ongoing efforts to empower young people and contribute to the community’s sustainable progress.

In 2025, Hon. Mambipiri delivered a solar-powered borehole and modern toilet facilities with showers to improve access to clean water and sanitation in the community. He has also been a vocal advocate for the rights of former David Whitehead employees, urging the government to help those who were retrenched 15 years ago and are still waiting for their dues.

Hon. Mambipiri has also shown his appreciation for the work of teachers, particularly lady teachers, in Kadoma Central. He recently visited public schools in the constituency, listening to the experiences of lady teachers and presenting them with flowers. However, he noted that there is a need for more female heads of schools, with only 2 out of 20 public schools in Kadoma having female heads.

The MP’s dedication to Kadoma’s growth and well-being has been commended, with residents acknowledging his tireless efforts to drive development in the constituency.
