THE TRAITORS’ WAGON-THE CHRONICLES PART 1 : VETERAN ACTIVISTS ASSOCIATION ZIMBABWE (VAAZ)

The turn of the century saw the emergence of Democracy Thirsty Nationalists but along also came a pack of Wolves with “Two Horns like a lamb but whose voice is like a dragon (Revelation 13:12)
This chronicling of the Great Betrayal of the Poor People’s Struggle was inspired by the recurring Regime Sponsored, State backed and Judiciary Endorsed onslaught on the Opposition compounded by Revelations by the “Tshabangu Imposed and Driven” CCC leader Professor Ncube and his entourage. It is an eye opener to those who misconstrue the right to associate and/or disassociate as an excuse to betray the People’s Struggle; Notable BETRAYAL, Deception and Machiavellianism are an unforgivable abomination.
This is a first of three articles that will chronicle the betrayal of the Poor People’s Struggle and the Actors behind it.For the record,we shall be chronicling every act of betrayal of the People’s Struggle regardless of colour, racecreed, tribe, social stature or ethnicity without fear or favor.
As the Guardians of Institutional memory of the Poor People’s Struggle we begin by retracing Ncube’s footsteps in Opposition politics.
a) ARI BEN MENASHE’S TREASON CONSPIRACY
In 2002 Professor Ncube introduced a Political Consultant Ari Ben Menashe to Dr Morgan Richard Tsvangirai. Ironically, Ari Ben Menashe later became a Star State Witness in a Treason case which could have had Dr Tsvangirai hanged had he been found guilty.
The question is, ‘Was it mere coincidence that Ari Ben Menashe who was introduced to Dr Tsvangirai by Prof Ncube ended up being a Star Witness in Dr Tsvangirai’s Treason Case or it was a conspiracy to have him nailed and hanged?
b) THE 2005 MDC SPLIT
In 2005, Ncube rebelled against President Tsvangirai labelling him an “uneducated dictator.”
He formed his own Splinter group with VP Sibanda and a few allegedly to split the MDC vote in the process benefitting the incumbent. He created another MDC party to confuse the electorate but President Morgan Richard Tsvangirai outmanoeuvred and outsmarted the Educated but not Learned Professor by creating an election vehicle MDC-T leading to Ncube’s MDC receiving a thorough and harsh discipline in the elections as The People smelt The Regime’s odour in Ncube and dumped him.
c) NCUBE,DABENGWA & MAKONI 2008 CONSPIRACY
In 2008, realizing that Dr Tsvangirai had the popular vote, Ncube allegedly conspired with Pro ZANU PF members to deny Dr Morgan Richard Tsvangirai outright victory leading to the support of an alleged ZANU PF Election Buffer Mavambo/kusile/Dawn led by then Mugabe’s Right hand man and former Finance Minister Dr Simba Makoni. Ncube and the former Intelligence Supremo, Dumiso DABENGWA who was then The President of ZAPU allegedly campaigned for Dr Makoni leading to him getting 8% of the vote by hook or crook and this was significant to deny MDC-T outright victory hence he allegedly gave ZANU PF a lifeline leading to the 27th of June 2008 Election RunOff which led to the Regime sponsored terror attacks resulting in the brutal murder of hundreds of opposition Activists and supporters such as Tonderai “Sarge” Ndira,Tapiwa Mbwanda, Joshua Bakacheza, Shepherd Cheu and many others. OTHER QUESTIONS ARISES: So,who had these cadres murdered? Was this not a classic Reincarnation of Morrison Nyathi who had hundreds of freedom fighters and innocent Children butchered in 1979?
Interestingly but not surprisingly, Dr Makoni’s Project folded immediately after elections.Was it natural, by design or it had served its purpose?
d) TSHABANGU CIRCUS
Zimbabweans had a new glimpse of hope when Adv Nelson Chamisa formed The CCC. Many joined the CCC including those with ulterior motives and who had previously rebelled against Advocate Nelson Chamisa and Dr Tsvangirai.The likes of Kucaca Phulu,Tshabangu, Khupe, Khaliphani Phugeni and others rushed in a bid to take up positions in the CCC but there were no positions to take as the CCC structure was different from the MDC one.
Conspiracies to effect a coup d’etat on the leadership were hatched leading to Tshabangu illegally and fraudulently Recalling elected Party Representatives and disenfranchising Constituencies. Allegations of Prof Ncube’s hand in the Recalls were rife but he denied all that. Like Simon Peter he denied any link with Tshabangu during the period of Recalls but later admitted knowing him. Among the hyenas lurking in the dark and working secretly with Tshabangu were Biti, Kore, Jacob Mafume, Hwende, Bvondo, and the late Murisi Zwizwai (May his soul Rest In Peace) to name but a few.
Now having read in between Ncube’s statement at his National Council after “killing” the CCC we have deduced that:
1) He allegedly was behind all the problems in the CCC. Moreso, he is allegedly not new to conspiracies, as he is linked to the death of one of Zimbabwe’s fearless Warriorsr, Learnmore Jongwe;whether this is fact or fiction, ONLY GOD KNOWS.
2) It is now apparently clear that while President Chamisa was rallying his troops and mobilising support for the CCC, Professor Ncube, Hwende and others were burning the midnight oil decampaigning him. THEY WERE THROWING SPANNERS IN THE CCC ELECTION MACHINERY. Evidently, some never attended the President’s campaign rallies.
3) He is allegedly the Chief architect of the illegal Recalls giving ZANU PF ⅔ Parliamentary Majority and free reign in Opposition strongholds for the first time since 2000. Moreso, his silence as Tshabangu madly and ferociously wielded his axe on CCC legislators and Councilors was defeaning.
So,who is he working for? Who has benefitted mostly from the Recalls and Splits from the days of the MDC till now?
4) By admitting that Tshabangu was not the legitimate CCC SG, Professor Ncube ignorantly agreed that Tshabangu and Mudenda fraudulently and illegally Recalled elected CCC legislators and Councilors.
5) He allegedly donated hard won opposition seats to ZANU PF subverting the people’s will in the process.
6) He allegedly engineered and authored the Illegal Recalls giving ZANU PF an illegal ⅔ majority.BY SO DOING, WHO WAS HE CAMPAIGNING FOR AND AIDING AND ABETTING TO RECLAIM LOST SEATS IN OPPOSITION STRONGHOLDS?
7) He allegedly is and has been Tshabangu’s puppeteer on behalf of ZANU.
8) He is allegedly being used by the Regime to create a subtle opposition and get into a cosmetic GNU with ZANU PF giving the Regime another lifeline as in 2008.
9) He is allegedly being used to subvert the people’s will and rubber stamp the illegitimate Government.
Evidently,Ncube has been fighting anyone with the Popular vote and splitting the Votes allegedly to weaken the Opposition’s influence benefitting the incumbent in the process.
The Regime bidding to create a quasi-one party state is allegedly meddling in Opposition politics. It has allegedly invested more in infiltrating and decimating the Opposition than in improving Service Delivery and poverty alleviation hence some have chosen to drink from the poisoned chalice.
Zimbabwe’s Doyen of Democracy, the Late but Great Dr Morgan Richard Tsvangirai taught us that “anything which makes ZANU PF happy is born of ZANU PF”.
Summarily, we believe Ncube is Lucifer personified due to his cunning and evil hyena Politics which has cost the Poor People’s Struggle a lot and taken it back to 2000.
