……. As Former President Tsvangirai’s aide Peter Chigaba joins CCC
Masvingo West Citizens Coalition for Change (CCC) member Advocate Frank Chirairo has responded to the call of President Nelson Chamisa to adopt and support wards during harmonized elections.
Advocate Chirairo will support CCC in Masvingo West ward 2 and Masvingo urban ward 1. He will provide food and other necessities for the election agents during the elections. There are 32 election agents in both Masvingo West ward 2 and Masvingo urban ward 1.
Advocate Chirairo said, “I have adopted these two wards as per the instruction of our President Nelson Chamisa. CCC must win the harmonized elections this year. I am ready to contribute to my party.”
Advocate Chirairo was one of the aspiring council candidates in Masvingo West ward 2. However, the party selected Ms. Shantel Chiwara.
In another story, former President Tsvangirai’s aide, Mr. Peter Chigaba, has joined Masvingo CCC. Mr. Chigaba has faced imprisonment and persecution for supporting the opposition party. He is a dedicated fighter and previously served as the Masvingo MDC Provincial Administrator. Chigaba joined CCC at a crucial time when CCC needs strong cadres in the face of Zanu PF intimidation.
Contacted for acomment, Mr. Chigaba said, “I am pleased to have joined CCC. I am ready to campaign for President Nelson Chamisa and all the candidates of the Citizens Coalition for Change party.”
