A memorial service for the late Allocation Madzivire is scheduled for tomorrow, 20th December 2025, at his family homestead in the Madzivire Homestead, located in Ward 12 of the Charumbira Community in Masvingo West. All family members, relatives, church members, and community residents are warmly invited to attend the service.
Allocation tragically passed away on 29th August 2025 in Kempton Park, South Africa. Reports indicate that he sustained fatal injuries after falling from the top floor of a building. This heartbreaking news was shared by his sister, Mary, during Allocation’s burial ceremony on 11th September 2025.
Born on 24th January 2006, Allocation was just 19 years old when he passed. He was the fourth son of Atanasi and opposition member Mrs Roziwita Madzivire, with his mother who served as a former councillor in Ward 15 in Masvingo West.
His father Atanasi Madzivire, a respected teacher at Charumbira Primary School, expressed profound sadness over the loss of his son. “I am devastated by my son’s death under such unclear circumstances. However, I find some solace in knowing that he has been laid to rest at our homestead,” he remarked in an interview with Change Radio during the burial on 11th September 2025.
The funeral service took place at the Madzivire homestead in Masikati village, under the jurisdiction of Chief Charumbira.
Allocation’s educational journey commenced at Charumbira Primary School, followed by attendance at Ndarama High School in Masvingo Urban and Mudavanhu High School in Masvingo West. He was known for his ambition and determination—qualities that inspired him to seek employment opportunities abroad, reflective of the challenges faced by many young Zimbabweans in today’s difficult economic environment.
