KADOMA Thousands Gather for Citizens Coalition For Change Party Rally in Kadoma

Over 60,000 people attended a vibrant political rally organized by the Citizens Coalition For Change (CCC) party in Kadoma. The rally, led by Advocate Nelson Chamisa, showcased the party’s vision for a transformed Zimbabwe.

One of the key promises made by Chamisa during the rally was the revival of the education sector. He emphasized the importance of consulting with parents on crucial matters, including scrapping CALA as it poses a burden on parents.

Chamisa outlined his party’s commitment to providing free primary school education and eliminating Zimsec examination fees. He stressed that if parents are already paying secondary school fees, they should not have to bear the additional burden of examination fees. Furthermore, he pledged to ensure that civil servants receive better salaries compared to what they currently receive under the ZANU PF government.

In his address, Chamisa also emphasized the party’s focus on job creation. He pledged to revive industries that were closed by the ZANU PF government and highlighted the potential for job growth through the construction of critical infrastructures like railways and roads.

Responding to the recent decision by the Bulawayo High Court to bar 12 CCC candidates from contesting parliamentary elections, Chamisa expressed his view that the ruling party, ZANU PF, is afraid of facing defeat. He accused the ZANU PF leader of attempting to steer the nation towards anarchy. Chamisa further announced that his party intends to appeal the High Court’s judgment.

The rally showcased the enthusiasm and support for the CCC party’s platform, with Advocate Nelson Chamisa leading the charge in addressing the challenges faced by Zimbabweans and offering a vision for a better future.

The rally was well-attended, with supporters chanting slogans and waving party flags. Many expressed their support for Chamisa’s promises of change and improvement in their daily lives. The CCC party hopes to secure a significant number of votes in the upcoming elections and bring about much-needed change in Zimbabwe.
