Earlier yesterday, President Chamisa had addressed highly subscribed rallies at Chachacha business center at 10 am and then Mandamabwe Business Center, Chivi, at 2 pm.
Zvishavane came to a standstill as Cyclone Chamisa swept through, with the mining town painted yellow. President Chamisa’s speech centered on the revival of mines in and around Zvishavane.
He also promised citizens that his new government will be corruption-free, people-centered, adequately remunerate workers, create job opportunities, and provide title deeds to the resettled citizens, among other things.
In addition, President Chamisa encourages Zvishavane citizens to vote for CCC presidential, parliamentary, and council candidates.
Armed riot police came to the venue of the CCC rally to inform the CCC party leadership to stop the rally as it was 5 pm.
