CCC offers lasting solutions to Zimbabweans’ problems ranging from loadshedding, poor salaries, and corruption, among others. It is evident that the Zanu-PF regime has failed to run the country. For the past 43 years, the country has not made any development; most of its buildings and roads were built by Smith.

Recently, the prices of basic commodities have been skyrocketing, with the price of 200 ML of shoe polish now at RTGS $15,400, which is around USD 9.

What makes it more difficult is that civil servants are earning around RTGS $48,000, which is around USD 30. Last week, a senior nurse who was addressing a conference in Harare revealed that the government hasn’t been paying them according to their qualifications and level of education. Besides being a tutor and a master’s degree holder, she is earning the same amount as junior nurses.

Below are the statements by the Citizens Coalition for Change explaining their problem-solving plan.

Problem The problem of poor salaries for civil servants, with some senior nurses earning as little as USD24 per month, is a major concern in our country. The low salaries have created immense financial hardships for civil servants and their families, affecting their quality of life and job satisfaction.
Solution A CCC government, under the leadership of President Nelson Chamisa, will prioritize the welfare of civil servants and ensure that they are treated with dignity and respect. We will work tirelessly to review and adjust civil servants’ salaries, making sure that they are commensurate with their qualifications, skills and experience. We will also support civil servants with decent working conditions, training and career development opportunities.
Problem: The weaponization of the law against government critics, journalists, political activists, artists and innocent citizens, is a worrying development that highlights the current regime’s repression and intolerance for free speech and dissenting voices. Hon Job Sikhala has spent more than 330 days in pre trial detention for a crime he didn’t commit. He’s being persecuted for demanding justice for Moreblessing Ali who was brutally murdered by a member of Zanu PF in Nyatsime.
Solution A CCC government led by President Nelson Chamisa will make sure that every citizen of this country have access to fundamental human rights, such as freedom of speech, the right to protest, and the right to a fair and just trial. Any abuses of these rights will be dealt with swiftly and justly.
Problem The problem of rampant corruption in the country, being promoted by Zanu PF elites, has caused great damage to the economy and society. The corrupt activities that have been exposed, such as the Drax International scandal, Fire trucks scandal, Pomona wastegate scandal, Gold Mafia among others have shown how public officials have enriched themselves at the expense of the public. While some officials have been implicated, little has been done to bring them to justice.
Solution A CCC govt led by President Nelson Chamisa will prioritize fighting corruption and restoring transparency in the government. To achieve this, we will work with law enforcement agencies to investigate and prosecute all criminal activities, including corruption. We will also ensure that the legal system is reformed to be functional, efficient, and impartial. We will create a corruption-free environment in the country, where public officials are held accountable for their actions, and where citizens can trust the government to work in their best interests.
Problem Acute shortage of electricity or power that has led to massive load shedding in the country due to poor planning, poor policies and corruption.
Solution Voting for a CCC government led by President Nelson Chamisa will solve the energy crisis in the country. We will invest in renewable energy sources and modernize the existing electricity grid to improve access to electricity in all regions, allowing citizens to have more reliable energy sources and reduce the burden of loading shedding and electricity costs.
Problem: The prices of essential goods are increasing at an alarming rate and have become unaffordable for many citizens, particularly those who are surviving on less than USD1 a day. This problem is mainly attributed to the mismanagement and ineffective policies of the Zanu PF party.
Solution: Did you know that by registering to vote and participating in the upcoming election, you have the power to change this dire situation? A government led by President Nelson Chamisa and the CCC party will implement policies that prioritize economic growth and stability, allowing for affordable prices of basic commodities. So let’s vote for change and secure a brighter future for our country.
