Zimbabwe passes another Draconian Law

By Leonnel Mhuka The Zimbabwean senate has passed the draconian Private Voluntary Act bill which is similar in nature to the Apartheid era Affected Organizations Act. It now awaits Mnangagwa’s signature to become law. It will affect the operations of Non Governmental Organizations. Zimbabwe’s failed economic policies and corruption have seen NGOs stepping in to help poor Zimbabweans with healthcare, food and poverty alleviation programs.
